Ecuadorian Andes. They serve gourmet vegetarian food with
produce from their organic gardens. Eco-Certified by
the Ecuadorian Association of Ecotourism and Ministry of Tourism
in Ecuador, they have won many awards as one of the top ecolodges
in the world. This initmate hotel has just eight rooms with wood
burning stoves. They are big on environmental awareness and are
responsible for numerous projects supporting the local community.
The hotel is a permaculture demonstration site, has composting
toilets and recycles their waste....but there is much more and
you should read their environmental statement.
