Prague
With ancient churches and mediaeval
cobbled lanes, Prague is rapidly becoming one of the most popular
destinations in Europe, and with good reason. As well as being
able to visit the famous Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge and
the Vltava River you will find numerous bars and cafes ranging
from traditional beer halls to modern cool designer restaurants.
Getting there and getting around:
OK, the quickest way to get to
Prague is flying, but it is also accessible by train -take Eurostar
to Brussels and then Koln where you catch the overnight sleeper
-tickets available from Rail Europe. Alternatively, the cheapest
method of getting there is buy bus, albeit with a journey time
of 19 hours -not quite the weekend return -tickets from Eurolines.
